The Ezulwini Sun Hotel is situated within the Royal Swazi Spa Valley resort complex in Swaziland's scenic Ezulwini Valley. This Swazi hotel is only minutes away from the capital city of Mbabane and the commercial hub of Manzini. It is popular with business traveller's, as well as leisure traveller's seeking access to the resort's facilities at a more modest price.
The atmosphere at the Ezulwini Sun Hotel is distinctly Caribbean with a mélange of refreshing blue and white textures, together with gentle turquoise and soft coral pink fabrics. The joie de vivre essence of the hotel is fully evident through-out.
The Valley Blues Restaurant and Pub, the Pool Terrace and the extensive lawns outside, all give this venue a feeling of space. A small on-site conference room can be used for workshops, presentations and meetings, whilst larger events can be hosted at the resort's Convention Centre.
There is easy access for guests to all the resort's facilities via an internal shuttle, such that the Golf Club, Casino, Convention Centre, Kamp Kwena and Royal Swazi Health Spa are all just a few minutes away.
Facilities & Services
Guests at the Ezulwini Sun hotel have the facilities of the entire Royal Swazi Spa Valley Resort at their disposal. The many leisure and sporting facilities will keep even the most active of guests fully occupied. The natural setting of the valley yields interesting nature trails at the nearby Mlilwane and Mantenga Nature Reserves, whilst the talent of local artisans can be admired at the many curio and craft outlets.
Casino - Situated at the Royal Swazi Spa there are tables and slots machines set in an intimate casino that provides wonderful hours of playing enjoyment.
Children's Entertainment - There is a special children's facility - Kamp Kwena for children between 4 - 12 years of age and the Magic Company which specialises in video and interactive games. Kamp Kwena is situated at the Lugogo Sun, whilst the Magic Company is found near the main Casino Entrance.
Golf - The spectacular 18-hole championship course at the Royal Swazi Spa Country Club is one of the most scenically rewarding to be found anywhere in the world. A different mountainscape can be enjoyed from every tee and green. The sweeping par 72 course is laid out on the slopes of the Lugogo Mountain, with the first 9 comparatively level and the back 9 fully exploiting the mountainous terrain. There is a putting green located close to the Club House for the convenience of players.
Quad-bike trail - situated immediately adjacent to the Royal Swazi Sun - this activity is managed by Swazi Trails. Trips depart daily for one hour or two hour excursions. Trips can be booked via the Swazi Trails representative in the foyer of the Royal Swazi Sun.
Gym - Situated inside the Health Spa, it has cardio vascular exercise equipment as well as circuit training equipment.
Health Spa - The Spa at the Royal Swazi is a haven of health and beauty offering an extraordinary range of spa treatments including Swedish massage, shiatsu, body raps, exfoliation, hydrotherapy, facials, manicures and pedicures. A hairdressing salon is also available.
Lawn Bowls - 2 beautiful bowling greens are situated just below the Royal Swazi Spa's pool deck and comfortably accommodate seven rinks each.
Snooker Room - A full-size snooker table is available at the Country Club.
Squash - 2 squash courts are located directly below the bowling greens.
Swimming - Each hotel has its own swimming pool with pool umbrellas and loungers. Bar service and snack menus are available. Both the Ezulwini Sun and the Lugogo Sun have children's paddle pools and at the Royal Swazi Spa a large heated outdoor jacuzzi adjoins the main swimming pool and poolbar.
Tennis Courts - 2 flood-lit courts are adjacent to the pool at the Royal Swazi Spa and another two courts are located at Ezulwini Sun.
Volleyball - Volleyball courts can be provided upon request at the Royal Swazi Spa, Lugogo Sun and Ezulwini Sun Hotels.
Planters Restaurant & Bar at the Royal Swazi - Open Sunday to Thursday (19h00 - Midnight); Friday and Saturday (19h00 - 02h00). Inspired from the colonial era of the original sugar cane farms, the essence is Asian with an imperial influence. The a la carte menu specialises in juicy grills, fragrant curries and spicy prawn dishes. The welcoming bar is an ideal venue to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or a night cap after a spin at the roulette table.
Casino Bar - Open daily: 15h00 till close. The bar in the casino is a hub of activity offering nightly live entertainment, the most innovative cocktails and an excellent reprieve from the casino floor.
Country Club Bar - Open Daily: 08h00 - 19h00. The best view at the resort can be enjoyed at the Country Club Bar which overlooks the championship golf course with its backdrop of a Mdzimba mountain range.

Children policy:
There are no specific family rooms at the Ezulwini Sun, however children under the age of 12 years who are sharing a room with one or two adults (limited to two children per room) are accommodated free of charge and pay only for meals and extra's, with breakfast prices payable as set out below. A single adult sharing with two or more children U12 years will be charged the single room rate. There are two double beds in each room.
There are six rooms that are interleading and that allow families to be together in this manner. In this instance two rooms need to be booked with a "Special Request" submitted for interleading rooms.

7-11 Years - 50% of adult rate

- Cancellations made 21 days or more in advance of arrival, will incur an administration fee of no more than 10% of the value of the amount paid.
- If cancelled within 14-20 days, 25% of the total price is forfeited
- If within 7-13 days, 50% of the total price is forfeited
- If within 0-6 days, 100% of the total price is forfeited
