It is a private, owner-driven venue which is a home away from home, always aspiring to provide the highest of standards. When describing Foresters Arms as a Boutique hotel, your local connection was a bit fuzzy on what differentiated an ordinary hotel from a boutique hotel.
Wikipedia had this to say : Boutique hotel is a term originating in North America to describe intimate, usually luxurious or quirky hotel environments. Boutique hotels differentiate themselves from larger chain/branded hotels and motels by providing personalized level accommodation and services / facilities. Sometimes known as "design hotels" or "lifestyle hotels", boutique hotels began in the 1980s in major cities like New York, London, and San Francisco. Typically boutique hotels are furnished in a themed, stylish and/or aspirational manner. The are usually considerably smaller than mainstream hotels. Boutique hotels are always individual and do not survive in corporate branding environments, so cannot exist in the large chain hotel groups.
Well - our conclusion is that Foresters is definitely a boutique hotel and a good one at that.

Swimming pool - sun seekers can lounge around the sparkling pool, which is set in landscaped gardens.
Lovers of the country can explore the surrounding areas on foot or horseback. The Foresters Arms has its own horses. Why not picnic with chilled wine at a nearby waterfall? Picnic boxes available. Or simply relax in this stimulating air and spacious freedom.
Golf - the attractive Usutu Golf Course adjoins the estate and the hotel has clubs available for guests' to use. Other golf courses in Swaziland include the splendid Royal Swazi Championship Course & the new Nkonyeni Couse. We are happy to book your round for you.
Fishing - Fish for trout or bass in the stocked forest dams. Enjoy these solitary, utterly, peaceful places in the forest. Rods are available for guests' use.
Cycling - Mountain bikes can be hired from the hotel and there are numerous trails to explore. Or why not try the tandem....for a touch of romantic humour?
Tennis and squash are also available with racquets for guests' use. Or tone up in our fitness centre and then relax in the sauna. Finally if there was not enough give table tennis, croquet and boules a try.
Inside the hotel, the library is a quiet corner to catch up on your reading and browse through our books and international newspapers. Internet and fax facilities are available. Bird lovers will enjoy the Roberts Bird Programme which is available free for browsing. On this database, you can identify birds, eggs, nests and sounds.
Conferences are catered for in our attractive Conference Hall with its audio visual facilities and adjoining secretarial suite. This venue, with its relaxed, informal atmosphere for undisturbed concentration, is ideal for conferences and seminars of up to 60 people.

At the Foresters Arms cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of arrival, will incur an administration fee of no more than 10% of the value of the amount paid. If cancelled within 30 days of arrival the total price is forfeited.
