Legends Backpacker Lodge is located in Swaziland's Ezulwini Valley. Mantenga itself is an area at the south-west of the Ezulwini area, lying roughly behind The Gables 'Pick 'n Pay' Centre.

If you are arriving by public transport: get a minibus from Mbabane or Manzini to "Gables - Ezulwini".  Walk up the "IN" entrance ramp to The Gables Shopping Centre. As you reach the top of the ramp, head behind the mall complex by passing between white Cape Dutch-styled building ahead, and the main mall building on your right. Exit the centre via the Service Entrance road. Take a right on Mantenga Drive and walk uphill 400m. Turn left towards Mantenga Craft & Lifestyle Centre and the Tourist Information Centre - and Legends is the 1st building immediately on the right. Pull off your backpack and relax!

Directions to Legends Backpackers from the north (Mbabane direction) travel south and branch off the MR3 highway onto the MR103 after reaching the bottom of the Malagwane Hill hill (big descent outside Mbabane). The MR103 is the old Ezulwini Road and runs roughly parallel to the highway.  Fly-off left, cross over and head through Ezulwini. 

Pass the Royal Swazi Sun Hotel.  Approx 2.7 km past the hotel you will see a sign that reads "Mantenga Craft Centre" - turn right here and follow the signs.  Approx 1 km further on turn right onto a dirt road, Legends Backpacker Lodge is on the right just before Mantenga Craft & Lifestyle Centre & Swazi Trails.

Directions to Legends Backpackers from the south (Manzini direction)

From Manzini head north on the MR3. Pass Sidvokodvo, airport, Matsapha and Lozitha fly-off's. At the Lobamba off-ramp, take the fly-off left and then go left again crossing the Lusushwana River. Carry on past the National Stadium (on your right) and then exit the small traffic circle at 1 'o clock. At the next intersection turn right on the MR103. Cross the Lusushwana River again. Then after approx. 400m turn left at the first tar road (if you reach Pick 'n Pay you've gone too far). 150m further on turn right and climb the hill. After approximately 700m turn left on a dirt road, Legends Backpacker Lodge is on the right just before Mantenga Craft & Lifestyle Centre & Swazi Trails.

Directions to Legends Backpackers from Malkerns area / Mlilwane -  

Get out onto the MR103 - the old Ezulwini road and head north, passing Lobamba (with a Caltex Service Station, King Sobhuza Memorial Park and National Stadium visible on the right). Cross a bridge over the Lusushwana River, then after approx. 400m turn left at the first tar road (if you reach Pick 'n Pay you've gone too far). 150m further on turn right and climb the hill. After approximately 700m turn left on a dirt road,  Legends Backpacker Lodge is on the right just before Mantenga Craft & Lifestyle Centre & Swazi Trails.
