FROM JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG
Head towards Witbank on the N12 or N4. Pass Witbank and Middleburg, and take the R33 turn-off towards Carolina. On exiting Carolina stay with the R33 which turns right straight after the railway line. 41km further on turn left at the T-junction towards Warburton on the N17. This road leads directly to the Oshoek border post. Continue on this road (MR3)which leads to Mbabane.
Continue on the MR3 road for approximately 59 kms before you will reach Manzini. Travel straight through Manzini. About 5 kms past Manzini, turn right onto the MR8 towards Big Bend. About 40 kms further on, look out for a Mkhaya Game Reserve sign on your left. This is where the Mkhaya open vehicles collect clients at 10h00 in the morning and 16h00 in the afternoon only.
FROM DURBAN, KWA-ZULU NATAL
Take the N2 North towards Pongola. 20 Kilometres before Pongola, turn right towards the Golela border post. Follow the MR8 into Swaziland towards Big Bend. Approximately 36 kms after Big Bend, look out for a Mkhaya Game Reserve sign on your right. This is where the Mkhaya open vehicles collect clients at 10h00 in the morning and 16h00 in the afternoon only.
FROM NELSPRUIT, MPUMALANGA
From Nelspruit, follow the N4 in an easterly direction. Take the R570 turn-off right after Malelane. This road leads directly to Jeppes Reef border post. Follow MR1 road through Pigg's Peak. Approximately 50km past Pigg's Peak you will reach a T-junction where you turn left onto the MR3 towards Mbabane. Continue on the MR3 road towards manzini. Drive for about 48 kms before you reach Manzini. Travel straight through Manzini. About 5 kms past Manzini, turn right onto the MR8 towards Big Bend. Directions to Mkhaya Game Reserve from Maputo, Mozambique
Depart Maputo on the EN2 past Matola and Boane. Approximately 5km after Boane turn left onto the EN5, passing the quarry on your right. A further 16.5km onwards turn left onto the road to Goba. Continue straight with this road to enter Swaziland at the Goba/Mhlumeni border post. From the border take the MR7 to Siteki and continue with it past Siteki and down the mountain to the plain below. At the base of the mountain look out for the junction left on the MR16 leading towards Big Bend. Take this road and head38km south until you reach the MR8. Turn right towards Manzini and go approximately 17.5km to reach the Mkhaya turn-off on your right.
