[Travel advisory (30th November 09): this hiking trail has faced some management challenges this year. It is functioning, but the level of management (particularly with regards to maintenance) has slipped below what we consider as the reasonable minimum for us to refer clients without caution. That said, a hiking trail requires very little and is an adventure, so please read what we have commented on. Our concerns have been referred to the Swaziland Tourism Authority and we have offered assistance in bringing services back to an acceptable standard. If you wish to visit please feel free to contact us for more details. The Mhlabeni Hut in particular is bad disrepair and can only really be considered a camping spot.]
