Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary itself is in central Swaziland, close to Lobamba at the southern end of the Ezulwini Valley.  This is a very convenient location for travellers to Swaziland as it is both central and close to many of Swaziland's highlights.

FROM JOHANNESBURG (GAUTENG) TO REILLY'S ROCK (SWAZILAND)

Head towards Witbank on the N12 or N4. Pass Witbank and Middleburg, and take the R33 turn-off towards Carolina. On exiting Carolina stay with the R33 which turns right immediately after the railway line. 41km further on turn left at the N17 T-junction towards Warburton. This road leads directly to the Oshoek/Ngwenya border post. Continue on the MR3 highway to Mbabane, bypassing the capital and travel down the Malagwane Hill to the valley below. At the bottom of the hill, take the first off-ramp towards the Ezulwini Valley Hotels (MR103). Travel past the Sun International hotels,  and later The Gables Shopping Centre (Pick 'n Pay). A further 3.8km after the shopping centre, you will reach the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary turning to your right. Travel for approximately 3km on the gravel road to the main entrance gate to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. From here Reilly's Rock is clearly sign-posted.

FROM DURBAN (KWAZULU-NATAL) TO REILLY'S ROCK (SWAZILAND)

Take the N2 north towards Pongola. 20 Kilometres before Pongola, turn right towards the Golela/Lavumisa border post. Continue straight with the MR8 towards Big Bend. Bypass Big Bend and stay with the MR8 for another 75 km to the T-junction with the MR3. Turn left onto the MR3 towards Manzini. Continue straight through Manzini, travel for approximately 7 km then leave the highway at Matsapha to follow the old road MR103 road towards Malkerns and the Ezulwini Valley. Pass the large Mahlanya Fruit Market on righte fruit market and travel for another 3.7km until the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary turn-off on your left. Travel for approximately 3km on the gravel road to reach the main entrance gate to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. From here Reilly's Rock is well-sign-posted.

FROM NELSPRUIT/MBOMBELA (MPUMALANGA) TO REILLY'S ROCK (SWAZILAND)

From Nelspruit/Mbombela follow the N4 in an easterly direction. Take the R570 turn-off right after Malelane. This road leads directly to Jeppes Reef/Matsamo border post. Follow the MR1 road through Pigg's Peak. Approximately 50km past Pigg's Peak you will reach a T-junction where you turn left onto the MR3 towards Mbabane. Bypass the capital and travel down the Malagwane Hill to the valley below. At the bottom of the hill, take the first off-ramp towards the Ezulwini Valley Hotels (MR103). Travel past the Sun International hotels, and later The Gables Shopping Centre (Pick 'n Pay). A further 3.8km after the shopping centre, you will reach the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary turning to your right.
