Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
The Royal Villas has timers placed on their lightswitches to save electricity. If a guest forgets to swtich the light off, it automatically switches itself off after a certain amount of time. Power saving globes are used wherever possible. The lights are only switched on when guests are expected. Local people are employed by the hotel for a number of jobs which aids the local community by putting money back into the local community in the form of wages.
