The Vineyard Bed & Breakfast is situated on Swaziland's only wine producing estate. With a commanding location that overlooks the Great Usutu River and extensive fields of sugarcane, this small family-run B&B provides accommodation in both the main house as well as garden rondavels.
The Estate has been bottling wine since 2007 and has a Shiraz under the label of Vindziwo, meaning Wine from the traditional clay pot. Only a limited number of bottles are produced each year. It is described as a lightly oaked, medium-bodied, fruity wine with a classic spice and pepper finish.
Facilities & Services
The Vineyard Bed and Breakfast is more than just a place to stay, it is an experience. Here are a few things you can try:
- ask for a tour of the farm's wine-making facilities.
- take a walk down the farm tracks to the Great Usutu River. The estate has 2km of river frontage.
- head to the nearby 18-hole Nkonyeni Golf Estate
- try your hand at white-water rafting with Swazi Trails. Trips start just downstream from the farm.
- take a bottle wine down to a picnic spot on the river
- bring your MTB along and enjoy the great local riding. The route down the north bank of the river towards Siphofaneni is an awesome out and back route.
In addition the venue has a swimming pool, a small game's room with a pool table and a well-stocked private bar for relaxing and socialising.

Children policy:
Children from 2 to 12 years of age (inclusive) are accommodated at a 50% discount to the adult rate. Infants are welcome to stay with parents for free.

For bookings made at The Vineyard B&B, all refunds and modifications are subject to a 15% handling fee or minimum charge of ZAR 100.00. Cancellations made from 21-14 days in advance of arrival incur cancellation fees of 25% of the total booking value. If cancelled within 14 to 7 days, 50% of the total price is forfeited, if within 0-6 days, 100% of the total price is forfeited.
