Presented by the Mbabane Mbuluzi Rotary Club this annual event is now in its 12th year.
Popular with local corporate teams the focus of this event is enjoying the beautiful surroundings of this special area and raising funds for various local charitable causes.
Last year over 2000 participants survived the walk and collectively raised a very worthwhile amount, which was disbursed for Rotary projects in the area, namely:
The Sibebe Community Trust, Salvation Army, Water provision to the Mbuluzi Clinic, Scholarships for OVC's, Deaf Society, Support for the Swaziland National Trust Commission, Vocational service awards and other projects to uplift the lives of communities in the area.
As usual the challenge is to walk to the top of Sibebe, and then to descend again via a shorter route with water and other light refreshments to break the trail. Presentations of certificates, prize giving and the breakfast will also be at the start/finish venue at the bottom of Sibebe.
