There are few places in Africa where you can cycle past herds of game on the seat of a bicycle. Enjoy a half-day excursion to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary and get eye-to-eye with zebra, wildebeest, warthog, kudu, nyala, waterbuck, blesbok, impala, hippopotamus and crocodile. Under the careful guidance of a Swazi guide, follow tracks and trails through the gentle hills and valleys of this scenic area. Ideal for photography & bird watching - this is an African safari with a healthy difference.

Our bicycle tour starts at Mantenga Craft and Lifestyle Centre, with a gentle ride through Lobamba Village to the Mlilwane Park entrance. Within the park a wide variety of routes exist and guides match cyclist ability and fitness to available routes. An optional swim in a warm spring, the Mhlambanyatsi River or the Rest Camp pool can be considered on most days - so bring a costume.
These MTB trails take 4 hours and cover 22-30km.
Participation by children on this cycle tour is possible, but entirely dependent on the child's ability to ride an adult size bicycle.
Children under U13 years 50% discount on trail prices, provided that there are at least two full-paying adults on the trip, or one adult with two children.
Swazi Trails make use of TREK mountain bikes, with a selection of aluminum frame TREK 4000 and steel frame TREK 800 bikes. All bikes have front suspension and 21 speed Shimano gear systems. Frame sizes vary from 16 to 22.5 inches.
